Are you a critical thinker with technical aptitude and a smooth communication style? Do you enjoy playing an integral role on mission-critical development projects? If so, this may be the opportunity for you. In this 100% remote-optional role, you will apply analytical thinking and problem-solving skills to develop user stories and the product backlog for multiple products. You will participate in Agile ceremonies and provides clarification on product requirements. Work as a liaison between product management, and development to elicit, analyze, and document user requirements, translating them into user stories; provide user stories to multi-disciplinary teams and define the business-driven acceptance criteria; participate in interviews with business owners and stakeholders; collaborate with the development team to ensure the design meets customer requirements; support the project team during design, development, and QA testing by clarifying requirements questions; and, create SQL statements and analyze resultant data. You will act as a point of contact during UAT to assist stakeholders/end users when issues/questions arise. You may be the sole analyst on medium to large scale or complex project efforts.

This position requires 2 years or more years’ experience in the software development life-cycle as a Business Analyst; a relevant degree is preferred. Must have knowledge of Business Process analysis. SQL experience is a strong plus. Agile (Scrum or XP) business analysis experience with user stories and backlogs is required. Excellent business requirements elicitation, analysis and documentation skills are a must. Ability to critically think through concepts and ask questions to help the team foresee future problems is indispensable. Must have the ability to understand complex business concepts and turn them into simple language. Some background in Quality Assurance/Testing is needed. Must be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
