Cybersecurity Training Project Manager Fort Worth, Texas

Exciting opportunity for a Senior Cybersecurity Training Project Manager. You will be responsible for translating CISO and CIO and other C-level objectives for the client companys security awareness initiatives into reality. You will envision, develop and drive Cybersecurity Awareness initiatives such as writing security articles, organizing virtual security presentations, and planning and managing corporate-wide Cybersecurity Awareness month events. You will provide Project management of yearly role-based security training for Enterprise Technology organization. Report on program metrics and compliance. Also, work as a technical project manager for assigned Enterprise Technology projects. Activities typically include charter, schedules, project plans, and WBS; management of project budgets, lead project team, support all change management activities and stakeholder reporting.

This position requires 7+ years of experience managing medium-to-large scale enterprise projects. A background in Training design and delivery is required including the ability to identify deliverable requirements and support hands-on content design and development where needed. Ability to work with appropriate teams to complete proof of concepts, request for proposals (RFP) and other aspects of vendor selection process. Should be comfortable with creating and delivering presentations to C-suite. Must have the ability to manage all projects according to PMO standards and successfully delivery within scope, schedule, and budget. Capable of creating, managing, and leading Cybersecurity Awareness Training across clients company. Ability to manage 3rd party vendor relationship and deliverables as well as successfully working cross-functionally with departments such as Training, HR, Compliance, Technology Enterprise and Legal. Knowledge and hands-on experience in operational aspects of training design, development and delivery are essential. Experience in Waterfall, Agile and Hybrid project management needed. Strong understanding of system development lifecycle (SDLC). Experience in networking and security technologies required. Ability to support multiple projects and priorities. Strong influencing, communication, teamwork, and coaching skills. Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited university. Preference given to degrees with Information Security and Computer Science. PMP or other industry approved project management certification strongly preferred. Proficiency in Microsoft Project, Visio and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and SharePoint is needed.
