Enterprise Network Security Project Manager Fort Worth, Texas
This position will be responsible for supporting Enterprise Security projects for a Network Security team. You will work with every level of a large, enterprise organization, including the CEO, CIO, and other C-level stakeholders. You will primarily manage projects leveraging the waterfall methodology. However, some of the teams are using Agile or Hybrid methods to manage their workload. You will be responsible for leading large complex projects, or multiple medium size projects, that spans multiple systems and business areas; work with other project managers to manage interdependencies; manage/assist in project budget details and resource management; and, oversee procurement process involved in projects including developing RFI/RFP, developing strategy and approach for scoring/evaluation, management of the procurement process, contract negotiation, and successful vendor relationship management and communication. You will also provide the detailed project plan and roadmap for all levels of leadership; create and publish Program Charters, Risk, Decision and Action Logs; create, manage and track project budget to ensure accurate actuals and forecasts; manage Agile Kanban board via Version One or MS Teams; manage key metrics associated with Security Program; provide Program summaries to key stakeholders on a weekly basis; manage key meetings, agenda, notes, & decks; provide status reporting on key program status to various stakeholders; work with Project team to ensure activities are completed as scheduled; support Project team as needed with budget creation, tracking and reporting as needed; manage and support Project Team in tracking key project metrics; provide onboarding support for new contractors or employees; and, manage project SharePoint site Administration for key project deliverables.
Position requires 7+ years managing IT projects with 5+ years managing security projects; this includes Technology experience that involves process change, organizational change, and MEDIUM TO LARGE SCALE deployments. Must be familiar with managing projects in Waterfall, Agile AND Hybrid methodologies. 5+ years working with MS Project needed. Must be able to demonstrate proficiency. Proficiency in Visio and Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint), and SharePoint (all products) with the ability to demonstrate proficiency in ALL PRODUCTS required. Must be able to demonstrate the ability to work on multiple projects simultaneously, with proficiency, and limited impact to deliverables. MUST have impeccable verbal and written communications due to high visibility and high-level audience. Experience in business and solution development, project management, and project delivery required. A strong understanding of the system development life-cycle is needed. Experience working with vendors/partners to deliver projects; experience developing complex, project plans to meet business objectives; experience developing and managing large project budgets; and, proven experience in project change management are all essential. PMP (Project PMP (Project Management Professional) Certification) is required along with Bachelors degree or higher from an accredited college/university. Minimum of 2 years of direct people management experience and basic knowledge of networking / network security is needed. Strong preference for Agile Certification (Agile, Scrum Master, Product Owner); 3+ years managing Agile projects; working knowledge in Version One (Agile Tool) and Planview (Resource/Financial Tool) A Masters Degree from an accredited college/university (MBA, Information Systems or Computer Science) is also a plus.
