Natural DB2 Programmer Fort Worth, Texas
This position is an excellent opportunity to apply your Mainframe Natural programming skills to develop and maintain mainframe code to support critical applications for our Fortune 100 client. Work will involve Natural code creation/testing/implementation. You will also be responsible for promoting code via the approved company change management processes and documenting changes per audit requirements.
Position requires 5+ years of application development using the Natural programming language and 3 to 5 years of application development and support experience using DB2. 3 to 5 years of technical analysis and design experience resulting in documented requirements and specifications also needed. Strong JCL is a must. Some Cobol knowledge (does not need to be to SME level) is needed. IMS experience is a plus. Familiarity with Windows server and the ability to maintain applications on a server needed. A general high-level familiarity with non-mainframe platforms and languages is a definite plus. Strong teamwork, organizational and communications skills required. Work will be 50% onsite.
