Outstanding opportunity for a Red Hat/Windows System Administrator to work with one of our innovative and growing clients. You will contribute to the development and maintenance of system standards; Assist in addressing and implementing data center operations projects; Assist in information and requirements gathering for new equipment and systems; Assist other IT team members as required. Will also carry out special projects as needed.

This position requires a minimum of 2+ years of server Hardware/data center experience and 1+ years OS experience in Windows/Redhat operating systems. Strong preference for hands-on experience with Dell hardware; other hardware manufacturers (e.g. Leveno, HP) are a plus. Datacenter experience with cooling, environmental management, cold/hot aisle, power infrastructure, UPS, distribution boards, PDUs Various CompTIA certifications is a plus. Associate degree or higher. Must have familiarity with enterprise storage: SAN, NAS, JBOD, RAID Base Windows OS deployment with PXE/SCCM/MDT OS deployment and initial configuration. Windows OS 2012-2022 Windows AD infrastructure, permissions, GPO Networking fundamentals: TCIP, Subnetting, DNS, VLANs Basics of network troubleshooting and conductivity issues. OSI Model Basic understanding of a VMware infrastructure General visualization and hyper-converged concepts Basics of Cat5-6 Copper cabling, labeling, IDF, MDF and any hands-on Understanding of Fiber Optic Cabling and Standards Basic Office applications: Word, Excel, Outlook Documentation creation/editing with Visio. Demonstrated teamwork and collaboration in a professional setting Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Capable of adapting to a dynamic work environment, solving problems and delivering creative solutions with a focus on mitigating recurring issues and limiting manual troubleshooting tasks. Deliver direct and responsive communication to business users in support of issues, planned maintenance activities, and project updates. Work effectively with process owners and SMEs to understand business requirements related to application implementations or enhancements. Adhere to project management and change control policies and procedures. Create and/or update support documentation, ensuring accuracy and appropriate detail where applicable.
