RHEL Linux Systems Administrator Fort Worth, Texas
We have an immediate need for a solid Red Hat Enterprise Linux Systems Administrator for a long-term contract opportunity for one of our top Fortune 100 clients. Do you have the desire to hone your RHEL administration and support skills in a large corporate enterprise environment with exposure to all aspects of Linux administration tasks as well as virtualization, automation, and monitoring? If so, this may be your ideal position. You will provide day-to-day monitoring, troubleshooting of enterprise infrastructure, patching, updating and maintaining the CMDB, and replacing failed hardware components. Projects will be focused on Linux server administration.
5 years of Linux Administration experience is required, along with solid Red Hat 5/6/7/8 skills. Strong VI Editor or equivalent, Bash Scripting and Ansible are a must. Prefer experience with ITCM Administration, Zabbix, Python, VMware/Vsphere & Mysql/MariaDB. Experience deploying software to remote servers desired. This position is mostly remote work with occasional on-call and onsite work required including once a month onsite for training. You must be a self-starter, problem solver, and have strong written and verbal communication skills.
