UX Designer Irving, Texas
We are looking for an end-to-end UX Designer for a long-term consulting assignment with our client. You will collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, and Developers to ensure you deliver bold designs and ideas. Work with Product Managers to gather business requirements; conduct user interviews to gather design requirements; define the problem statement for your designs; create wireframes and present options to the design team; and, create prototypes in Figma and present them to the business stakeholders and developers for feedback. Work on data-heavy design problems that have to fit into an existing application. Deliver incremental designs and prototypes to developers working in a continuous delivery methodology. Create user task flows, wireframes, and prototypes based on the project’s needs. Review developer’s work and give feedback for UX and UI changes. Receive UI / UX mentoring from more experienced employees.
We’re looking for people who love complex problem-solving. We are a small UX team dedicated to thoughtful designs with a user focus. You must have an online portfolio and be in the US and be willing to work core hours in the Central Time Zone. Must collaborate well in a team environment and have a willingness to take feedback from other team members and developers. We are looking for a self-driven designer who is always looking for ways to help the team. Must have experience gathering business and design requirements with an ability to define a problem statement and prototype the ideas. Two or more years of relevant experience is a must. Demonstrated examples of real-world design deliverables (usability research, personas, journey maps, wireframes/prototypes). Excellent written and oral communication skills, negotiation, collaboration and interpersonal skills are essential. BS Degree or equivalent in Computer Science or related fields preferred.
