Windows System Administrator Plano, Texas
Thinkfind is currently looking for a Windows System Administrator for a contract consulting opportunity with our Plano, Texas client. You will assist in the analysis and remediation of problems involving operating systems, database systems, applications, and other technologies within the organization; troubleshoot system components and recommend improvements in support of a highly efficient data center operation; assist with the design and implementation of data system components under the direction of the Systems Administration Manager; and, plan and execute the installation of hardware and software in accordance with established guidelines.
This position requires 5+ years’ Windows Administration experience. 5+ years’ Active Directory/GPO experience in a large enterprise environment is essential. 5+ years’ experience utilizing Microsoft SCCM for Application deployments and OS updates a must. You will also need 5+ years’ experience with VMWare vSphere and 5+ years’ experience managing enterprise storage (Pure, Compellent or others). Additionally, automation experience (PowerShell, Bash, Python, or others); experience in Administration of Azure and M365/Exchange Online; experience managing enterprise backup software; and experience implementing and enforcing security best practices are needed. Strong preference for Linux Administration (SUSE, RHEL, Ubuntu); Windows Remote Desktop Service Administration; Workspace One/Airwatch Administration; Solarwinds Monitoring; and, NGAV/EDR Management experience. Excellent written, oral, and interpersonal communication skills are required. Must have the ability to work in a team-oriented, collaborative environment. Travel may be required to district and field offices.
